Cock-a-doodle-DOO

The hens rule the roost in this chicken house... or at least they did until Jethro came along. Pa (aka David, Dad) built the chickens a fancy new home with everything a farm fowl could desire. Our goal here is the manual powered alarm clock but daily farm fresh eggs would sure be a bonus. I think they are pretty content in their new home. Maybe they'll return the favor soon with some breakfast on the table (the eggs). If nothin else, perhaps the children could enter some of the birds in the county fair and bring home a cherished blue ribbon. That'd be pretty sweet!

So jealous! I've been wanting a little backyard coop for years. I have friends over in Capital View/Hillcrest in LR that have them too. I think I may have to talk Robert into building me one...as soon as some of our other projects are finished. :)

Hahaa...that is SO cool! My parents have a couple of chickens who insist on wandering into their house! I think they need something like what you have. NICE!
